Capture, Transform, Retain

Every piece of knowledge you want to keep follows the same journey. First, you encounter it — in a lecture, a book, a conversation, a video. This is capture. The raw moment of contact between you and an idea.

But raw input isn't learning. A highlighted paragraph is not understanding. A screenshot is not knowledge. The second phase, transformation, is where learning begins. You restructure the information, connect it to what you know, and test whether you actually grasp it.

The third phase is what most people skip entirely. Retention requires revisiting material at strategic intervals, strengthening the neural pathways that hold the knowledge in place. Without this phase, the first two are wasted effort.

Repeatica is built around this three-phase cycle. Every feature maps to one of these phases. Every design decision is made to move knowledge forward through the pipeline.
