Simplicity is a feature

Every screen in Repeatica should serve learning. Every button should have a clear purpose. Every flow should be completable without a tutorial. Complexity is the enemy of consistency, and consistency is the engine of retention.

This is a deliberate constraint. It's tempting to add features that serve edge cases, power users, or theoretical workflows. But every added option is cognitive overhead. Every menu item is a decision point. Every configuration screen is a reason to procrastinate instead of study.

The discipline of simplicity means saying no to features that most users won't need, even when some users loudly request them. It means choosing sensible defaults over extensive customization. It means trusting that a tool which does fewer things superbly will outperform one that does everything adequately.
